This is probably more of a recommendation to watch as opposed to an in depth review as I don’t really want to give too much away plot wise about this most fascinating story.
Very briefly ….
It’s about three men who are reunited in their late teens after they were separated as babies. They are identical triplets.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg and in fact their coming together is covered in the first ten to fifteen minutes of the show.
The documentary delves into the circumstances surrounding regarding their separation (and the controversy), and also the way it affects their lives as it reverberates over the years, using face to camera interviews and recreations of past events.
It’s very moving and emotional in parts and really makes you think both as you are watching it and for hours afterwards as you mull over all you have seen and heard.
I must say that recently some of the most interesting ‘cinema’ I have seen has been of the documentary variety and this is very much included in that.
I can heartily recommend it and encourage you to take the time to watch it.
